Healing Heart Massage: Your Path to Wellness
A Natural Way to Heal
Our Holistic Services
We offer many bodywork modalities for a completely customized session. Here are just a few of the most common modalities used in most massages.
Long and flowing strokes with pressure ranging from light to firm. This type of massage is perfect for complete relaxation and when a full body massage is desired. It will increase circulation and lymph movement, lubricate the joints and tendons, and allow for better range of motion in a gentle way.
Fascia runs through the body from under the skin down to the bone. It is the connective tissue that houses all our muscles and organs and is responsible for most of the musculoskeletal issues that impede our normal range of motion. Slow techniques with minimal to no oil are used. Some stretching is involved but is minimal as most of the work is done using long holds until the tissue releases.
Deep Tissue Massage
Similar to the Swedish massage but the strokes are much deeper. I start out light to medium and work my way deeper into the tissue to access layers usually untouched in a Swedish massage. This massage may be uncomfortable and is not recommended if you bruise easily. This massage will free up deeper restrictions and I commonly use Myofascial techniques to compliment the deeper tissue strokes.
"Massage has had a positive effect on every medical condition we've looked at."

We realize that emergencies and other scheduling conflicts arise and are sometimes unavoidable.
However, advance notice allows us to fulfill other patient’s scheduling needs and keeps the clinic operating at is most efficient level. Due to our one-on-one, 30-60-90 minute treatments, missed appointments are a significant inconvenience and a financial loss to your therapist and clinic. It also impacts other patients who could otherwise have scheduled at that time. We reserve your one-hour appointment time just for you. We do not double-book our patients so that we may provide optimum treatment outcomes for all our patients. 24-hour notice allows us to offer that time to a wait-listed patient.
This policy is in place out of respect for our therapist AND our clients. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot and leave large gap in your therapist’s schedule.
1. Please provide our office with 24-hour notice to change or cancel an appointment. Patients will be responsible for 50% of the scheduled service if cancelled the day before and 100% of the scheduled service if cancelled the same day or no show completely. This charge must be paid on or before the next scheduled appointment.
2. After two missed or cancelled appointments without the appropriate 24-hour notice, you may be placed on a same day scheduling policy for your treatments, which would not allow you to schedule any appointments in advance.
NOTE: You will never be charged for a cancellation if it is made more than 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time.
